Events and Announcements

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: THE POWER OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: You are invited to make a holy hour or half hour, when the blessed sacrament is exposed after the 6:45am mass on Sunday, all through the day and night until 6:30am on Monday, in our beautiful Chapel. After 10pm on Sunday night enter through the Sacristy door, between the Chapel and the Rectory. Pope John Paul II stated that "the best, the surest and the most effective way of establishing everlasting PEACE on the face of the earth is through the great power of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament." Mother Teresa stated "Perpetual Adoration, Eucharistic Adoration offers to our people the opportunity to join those in religious life to pray for the salvation of the world, souls everywhere and peace on earth. We cannot underestimate the power of prayer and the difference it will make in the world."

DIVINE MERCY DEVOTION: St. Louis Chapel - daily - Monday through Friday, 1:45-2:45pm. Any Questions, call 301-854-2279.

HOLY DAY MASSES: Masses are celebrated at the following times for holy days of obligation--7am, 8:30am, 12 noon, 7pm, and 7pm on the evening before the holy day.

PARISH OFFICE HOURS: For your convenience, the parish office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 8:30pm, and Sunday 9am to 3pm. The office is closed weekdays from 12:30pm to 1:30pm so that the staff can enjoy lunch together.

RESPECT LIFE: Can you spare fifteen, twenty or thirty minutes on a Saturday morning? Join us then and be a PEACEFUL, PRAYERFUL WITNESS to the sanctity of life. We pray on the first Saturday of each month from 9-11am, near the Hillcrest Abortion Clinic located on Rte. 40 west and Johnnycake Rd. Such a small amount of time to make such a great impact! Call Grace Kissane 410 730-0201.

CHILDREN OF THE LIGHT PRAYER GROUP: This charismatic prayer group meets every Wednesday evening at 8pm.

OUR DAILY BREAD: Please remember our obligation to serve chicken at Our Daily Bread on the second Tuesday of every month - Cooked chicken pieces may be dropped off in the school kitchen refrigerator or at my home - 6005 Ten Oaks Rd., Clarksville. Thank you. For more information, call Mary Agnes Lewis 410 531-3813.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY: We celebrate Liturgies for Children on the FIRST and THIRD Saturdays of the month, at the 4 pm Mass on Saturday evening. These liturgies are aimed especially at the children of the parish. We encourage all children, and their families to join us.

MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE: There is nothing worse than an empty belly. There is nothing more senseless in this land of plenty than hunger. Please help our parish provide for those less fortunate. The list is simple. The need is great. The first Sunday of each month we collect food and distribute it directly to food pantries in Howard County and Baltimore. Please help by bringing a donation that weekend to church. You can choose anything from the list that follows; peanut butter, tunafish (water pack), 1lb pasta or rice, jar of spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, can green vegetables, unsweetened cereal, box dried milk, pork and beans, vegetable soup. Thank you.

ST LOUIS ELECTRONIC CONTRIBUTION: We would like to remind you that we have a program here at St. Louis called the St. Louis Electronic Contribution Transfer program (ECT). This program enables you to have the option of having your contributions deducted once or twice each month. Contributions to the parish will be automatically deducted from your Savings or Checking account (whichever you prefer). This service is free and you may cancel it at anytime. If you have any questions, please call the Parish Office at 410-531-6040 or click to get started. Download the enrollment form
