Lectors

Lectors assist in the celebration of the Mass by proclaiming God’s Word. Passages from the Old Testament and the letters of the Apostles are read during the Liturgy of the Word. Lectors also assist with the Prayer of the Faithful and in reading parish announcements. The parish is always in need of individuals who possess a love for God’s Word and the gifts needed to proclaim it effectively. Lectors meet twice a year as a group and participate in regular training.
