Music MinistryChoir - Do you like to sing? Consider joining the St. Louis Choir, a group of men and women who love to sing classical and contemporary music for St. Louis liturgies. Rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 8-9:30 p.m. in the church and the choir sings for the 11:15 a.m. Mass each Sunday from September to early June. In addition, there are a few extra rehearsals just before Christmas and Easter to prepare special music programs. For more information, contact Paul Carroll, Director of Music at pcarroll@stlouisparish.org or the Parish Office. Also, look for upcoming information regarding an Open Rehearsal to be held in early September 2007. All will be welcome to take part in a choir rehearsal to see what it is like. Folk Group - The Folk Group consists of men, women, boys, and girls, who can sing or play the guitar and want to praise God using these gifts in service at the liturgy. Other musical instruments (trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, drum, flute, piano, and oboe) are also used. The Folk Group ministers weekly on Sunday morning at the 9:30 a.m. Mass; practice follows the Mass. The leader of the Folk Group is Leo Rudegeair. For more information, call him at 410-531-6314. Musicians – Singers and Instrumentalists – Consider joining the St. Louis Music Ministry as a cantor or instrumentalist during Mass – both regular weekly Mass and other special occasions.
