Our Pre-K program is designed to encourage the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of your young child. We will foster the confidence that they will need to be successful in Kindergarten and throughout their school years. New for 2010-2011! In an effort to address the needs of our parents, we are happy to announce that we will be offering a full-day option for our Pre-K program for the 2010-2011 school year. We are very excited and we encourage you to stop by for a visit to see all that we have to offer your children. |
- Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2010
- Children must be able to use the restroom independently
- Class size – 11 students/ One certified teacher and one assistant
- Monday through Friday - Full Day with Half Day Option
- Full Day – 9:05 a.m. – 3:35 p.m.
- Half Day Option – 9:05 a.m. – 1:05 p.m.
- Academic Curriculum - Archdiocese of Baltimore Early Childhood Education Course of Study
- Instruction focuses on language and literacy, math, science, the arts, and Religion
- Physical Activity - Gross motor development through songs & finger play, music & dance and outdoor play time. Circle time, song and dance, snack, recess
- Spiritual Life - Chapel time twice a month with Father Dominique
- Parent Communication - Bi-weekly “Busy-Bees” newsletter for parents
- Healthy snacks provided
- In – house field trips and shared school activities
