Outreach
The St. Louis School community provides charitable outreach to those in need, including St. Louis’ sister parishes in Western Maryland and Haiti, as well as Operation Rice Bowl through Catholic Relief Services. The students also contribute throughout the year to various causes to aid the poor and homeless locally, nationally, and globally. One example of this outreach is writing letters to service men and women.
Additionally, the student council sponsors two service days each year. Students, parents, faculty, and staff members join together on service day to aid the members of our community who are in need of helping hands to perform a variety of tasks such as raking leaves, trimming bushes, picking up trash, cleaning windows, and other miscellaneous chores.
Service Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
