Divine Mercy Prayer Group

Image of Divine MercyThe Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets weekly on Mondays at 10:45 AM in the St. Louis Stone Chapel to pray the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. The message of Divine Mercy is simple. It is that God loves us – all of us. And, He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

The Chaplet can be said privately or in a group.

On Rosary Beads:

  • To start, say 3 times, “O Blood and Water which gushed forth for all sinners, I trust in You.
  • Say an Our Father, Hail Mary & Apostles’ Creed (in that order) on first 3 Hail Mary beads
  • On the Our Father beads, say,

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and the sins of the whole world.”

  • On the Hail Mary beads, say,

For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have Mercy on us and on the whole world.”

  • At the end, say 3 times,

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

  • Afterwards, say the Signature,

Jesus, I trust in You.”

There is an optional additional opening prayer and closing prayer, too.
