RETREATS
3 Retreats, 1 Mission
At CYM, we have THREE incredible opportunities for you to attend a retreat! ALL high-schoolers are invited to all 3 retreats and we challenge you to experience the TRIFECTA before graduating! (Attend as a retreatant or team member!) They are each unique and amazing.
- SPARK! 1 nighter in March
- Summit Lake - a 2 nighter in April
- Teen ACTS - a 3-nighter in July
A retreat is a way to take a step back from life in order to encounter God. You will have the chance to explore your faith alongside your friends and a supportive retreat team. All high-schoolers are invited, but if you are a Confirmation Candidate, you are required to attend one of these retreats as part of the Confirmation process!
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
We are called to be God's hands and feet by serving others and bringing them JOY! You will find you'll get as much, if not more, than you give, Including fun and community. In the Summer, you can volunteer at Vacation Bible School, Clarksville Picnic Camp and the Work Camp Retreat co-sponsored by Habitat for Humanity. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to visit senior centers and serve lunch at Grass Roots. And don't forget the Italian Dinner!
CONFIRMATION
High-school sophomores who graduated from St. Louis school or are in the religious ed program at St. Louis will automatically receive information about attending a Confirmation Information Session in January of Sophomore Year. Confirmation takes place the fall of Junior Year. Any St. Louis parishioner who is a sophomore in high school, and their parents, are invited to the information session.

RELIGIOUS ED
FOR FULL RELIGIOUS ED DESCRIPTIONS CLICK HERE!
High schoolers in Grades 9-10 have 3 main options for faith formation:
- Weekly Monday night religious ed (September to April, 7-8:30PM)
- EDGE (Fourth Sunday of each month, September to April, 9:30AM-2PM, begins with 9:30 Youth Mass) No EDGE in December!
- WIRED (Wednesday Intense Religious Ed) is on select Wednesdays throughout September to April. Includes a Speaker Series where all high-schoolers are invited!
5-WEEK SPEAKER SERIES
The High-School CYM 5-week Speaker Series takes place in November and February each year. Motivational and inspirational speakers facilitate evenings on relevant topics for high-schoolers. All high-schoolers are invited! If you are in WIRED, are required to attend 7 of the 10 speaker nights.
WORK CAMP RETREAT
The annual High-School CYM Work Camp Retreat takes place in July and is co-sponsored by Habitat for Humanity. Limited spaces available! EMAIL PAT FOR MORE INFORMATION!
