LLS Student of the Year

My name is Mariana Lennon and I am honored to be participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year Campaign. During these next seven weeks (ending March 9, 2019), I will be raising funds to help pay for research toward a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families who are struggling with these diseases. I am grateful to Pat Sprankle for having nominated me for this prestigious honor. I am asking all of you for your help to save the lives of millions of cancer patients across the world.
Heres how you can help:
  • Make donations at my LLS website: https://events.lls.org/md/MDSoY19/mlennon
  • Share my message with your contacts via email or social media
  • Donate a silent auction item that can be used for the Grand Finale Gala auction
  • Help me secure a corporate sponsorship (Sponsorships start at $2500 and sponsors receive Gala benefits)

Please contact me if you have any further questions, my email is: mlennon5683@gmail.com

Sincerely,
Mariana Lennon

Our Youth in  Community

People for People is a nonprofit organization created by five high school students in Howard County. We focus on raising money for larger, widespread organizations that support people with physical or intellectual disabilities such as the Special Olympics and the Maryland School for the Deaf. Currently, we are serving as a subcommittee of the Catholic Youth Ministry Leadership Team at St. Louis Church, and we hold frequent bake sales and fundraisers for our cause, in addition to participating in volunteer activities related to our cause.
