Father Michael DeAscanis - Pastor
Fr. DeAscanis has been serving as pastor of the pastorate of St. Louis in Clarksville and St. Francis of Assisi in Fulton since 2021. He was ordained a priest on June 26, 2004. Fr. DeAscanis worked for four years as a civil engineer before entering seminary. He attended both Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Maryland and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He also serves as chaplain of the Catholic Medical Association in Baltimore.
Father Robert Katafiasz - Associate Pastor - rob.katafiasz@archbalt.org
Fr. Katafiasz (pronounced Cat-uh-Fi-ez) – a Pasadena, Maryland native – followed a tech-prep track through Northeast High School, and then Anne Arundel Community College. Before seriously discerning the priesthood, he worked as an industrial cleaner for five years, and later would become the maintenance man of his home parish, St. Jane Frances de Chantal, which afforded him more time to begin seriously exploring religious orders. He studied at Mount St. Mary's University and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg. Fr. Katafiasz was ordained a priest on December 15, 2018 by Archbishop William E. Lori.
Father Daniel Andrades - Associate Pastor - daniel.andrades@archbalt.org
Fr. Andrades – originally from Karachi, Pakistan – was 19 years old when he arrived in America. He was pursuing a career in physical therapy and assisting at a cardiac rehabilitation facility before feeling the call to be a priest during his senior year at Towson University. After being accepted as a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, he was assigned to Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, where he completed his years of priestly formation. His favorite sport is rock climbing. Fr. Andrades was ordained a priest on June 22, 2024 by Archbishop William E. Lori.

Fr. Langan was born and raised in Westminster, Maryland, the youngest of two. At around age 11 he started thinking about priesthood. In 2006, he joined the program of priestly formation for the Archdiocese of Baltimore and was sent to finish his college degree in Catholic Studies at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. In 2009, he started Major Seminary at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy. He studied theology for three years at the University of the Holy Cross, and then for two more years at the University of St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum). Fr. Langan was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Lori on June 21st, 2014. In January 2023, he was assigned to studies in Canon Law at Catholic University of America.
Father John McHale - Retired Priest
Fr. McHale was the pastor of St. Patrick's Parish in the Diocese of Scranton in Pennsylvania from July 2006 - January 2014. After his "retirement", he has been a volunteer priest at St. Louis since 2014. He also serves as a chaplain at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital and the Executive Director of Hope to Faith to Freedom, Inc. Fr. McHale - who has a devotion to Our Lady of Kibeho - was ordained a priest on June 26, 2004.

Deacon Scott graduated from what is now Loyola University Maryland where he earned a BA in Business and a MBA with a concentration in Accounting. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on May 14, 2011.

Deacon Frank earned a BS in Engineering from Marquette University - Milwaukee, WI and a Master of Engineering Administration degree from The George Washington University – Washington, DC. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on May 11, 2013. Deacon Frank also serves as an advocate for the Marriage Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Deacon Bob graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and Vermont Law and Graduate School in South Royalton, Vermont. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on May 11, 2013.

Deacon Frank graduated from the University of Illinois with a Civil Engineering degree and began his career in construction and real estate development in the Loop of Chicago. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on May 16, 2015.

Deacon Kevin earned a BS degree in Engineering Science from the Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore by Archbishop William E. Lori in May 2017.

Deacon Matt graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey with BA in Philosophy and recently earned a Masters in Theology from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He was ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Baltimore on May 25, 2019.

Scott Buttrick was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, one of five children in a Coast Guard family. He served 25 years as a Coast Guard helicopter pilot and 11 years managing a small government contracting business. Scott came into the Catholic Church in 2015 and has 2 daughters.
