Physical/Psychological Readiness
The Child is:
- Willing to receive the sacrament.
- Able to participate attentively in the liturgy.
Catechetical Readiness
The Child is:
- Able to understand Church affiliation.
- Able to relate to Jesus as one who loves and cares for us.
- Able to distinguish between ordinary bread and the Eucharist.
Liturgical Readiness
The Child is:
- Attending the Eucharistic liturgy regularly (Mass).
- Able to participate in the Eucharistic celebration (Mass).
