The St. Louis School community provides charitable outreach to those in need, including St. Louis’ sister parish in Haiti, as well as Operation Rice Bowl through Catholic Relief Services. The students also contribute throughout the year to various causes to aid the poor and homeless locally, nationally, and globally. One example of this outreach is writing letters to service men and women.

Additionally, the student council sponsors a service day each year. Students, parents, faculty, and staff members join together on service day to aid the members of our community who are in need of helping hands to perform a variety of tasks such as raking leaves, trimming bushes, picking up trash, cleaning windows, and other miscellaneous chores.

Each month of the school year we will host a food collection to assist our brothers and sisters in need in our own community.  What a wonderful opportunity!  Our September collection, which runs from September 16-20, will benefit the guests of FISH of Howard County and the seniors served by Food on the 15th.  Please see this flyer for a wish list and information about our partnership with Food on the 15th.  FISH requests the same wish list items as well as boxes of powdered milk, boxes of macaroni and cheese, and cans of baked beans.  Thank you for your support and your generosity!
