3D Printed Globe Theatre

Wherefore art thou, 3D printer?
But soft (ware), what object through yonder 3D printer makes?

Mrs. Nugent and Mrs. Whiteford are combining literature and technology to give our Eighth Graders a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” Many of Shakespeare’s plays were performed in the Globe Theatre, an open-air amphitheater in London which may have seated as many as 3,000 spectators. Our students have designed a three dimensional model of the Globe theater and are printing the models using our new Dremel 3D printers
