5th Grade Social Studies

If Columbus arrived in 1492, and the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, what was happening in America for the 300 or so years in between?

Mrs. Frederick’s 5th-grade students dove right into that time period to find out! They recently researched key historical figures and their impact on history, sharing the most important facts with their classmates. To bring these characters to life, Mrs. Frederick asked the students to collaborate to create life-sized drawings – which are now displayed in our main hallway for all to see. The students enjoyed this project and are so proud of their work. And we are too!
