First Communion 2024
- First Communicants and one adult sign in at social hall at 9:15am. First Communicant sits in assigned seat in social hall and adult returns to church for seating for Mass.
- Seating is open to all. First come, first seated. There will be additional overflow seating in the Parish Social Hall. All families and guests should be seated in church by 9:45am.
- Our celebrations will be live streamed at:

- No photos or videos before or during the Mass, and no private professional photographers. We have arranged for a photographer to capture memories of this special day.
- Girls who are wearing gloves should remove them before the Eucharistic prayer begins.
- The Mass should last around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- After the recessional hymn, First Communicants will process onto the steps of the altar for a group picture. Parents and guests are free to exit the church or to remain seated.
- After the group photo is taken, the First Communicants will be escorted to the school gymnasium. One adult should come to pick up the First Communicant and his or her certificate.
- *No photography or videos are allowed before or during Mass.* Pictures may be taken in the church after you have picked up your First Communicant and certificate. Please do not go higher than the first step when using the sanctuary as a backdrop.
