Discovering Christ
You are invited to join us for Discovering Christ, a 7-week course designed to deepen your faith and draw you closer to God. You will reflect on life’s big questions. We dive into fundamental questions like, “What’s my purpose?” and “Why does Jesus matter?” These questions are for every stage of belief, whether you’re in the pew, fallen away or unbaptized. The answers from the Gospel set the stage for a personal encounter with Christ. Faith comes alive. The heart of Discovering Christ is this: the Good News is for YOU!
The weekly sessions include four components:
1. Meal: The meal is a time for hospitality, fostering relationships, and growing in friendship with one another.
2. Prayer: This is large group prayer with a song or two. It helps everyone get comfortable praying together.
3. Video: The video sessions proclaim, with beauty and simplicity, the core Gospel message and invite participants to make a personal response to Jesus Christ. (See topics below)
4. Small Group Discussion: The small groups are a place for people to freely share what they think and feel about the topic discussed in the teaching.
Sessions start at 6:45 PM in St. Francis of Assisi - Fulton, Room 106. We end promptly at 9:00 PM. Hear what others have to say about Discovering Christ.
Consider inviting your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, and others who want to grow in their faith and relationship with the Lord as well as those who have been away from the church and are interested in learning about a relationship with the Lord. Consider also those who have no faith at all.
