St. Louis and St. Francis Haiti Ministry

In 1997, St. Louis entered into a pastoral relationship with St. John the Evangelist School in Gonaives, Haiti.  St. Francis in Fulton joined this mission in 2021. Monsignor Joseph Luca envisioned this partnership as one that would enrich the lives of Haitians living in the community of St. John the Evangelist and pastorate parishioners alike. This partnership which seeks to foster spiritual, cultural, financial and personal goals has deepened and prospered over the past two decades.

The Haiti Ministry is comprised of dedicated parishioners who gather to discuss and implement new and ongoing initiatives focused on supporting the over 900 students and the teachers of St. John the Evangelist. We are truly grateful for the blessings this collaboration has brought and we continue to pray for success beyond what has already been achieved.
